Quality watch movements are typically made by the Swiss, Japanese, and German manufacturers.
The higher the water resistance the better. Typical water resistance seen on watches are 3 Bar, 5 Bar, 10 Bar, and 20 Bar.
Case Material and Crystal Material
Watch case material is a factor in determining watch quality. Cases made of stainless steel are the minimum for a good watch.
Concurrently, a watch's crystal or glass material is a measure of watch quality. Sapphire Crystal is the best among the different types of crystals.
